Recipe: Elsa’s Favorite Grilled Chicken

About This Recipe

The are certain things I make that I have many recipes for. These recipes are usually for foods that go with a lot of different side dishes or combine in many ways as a main dish. One of these such recipes is for grilled chicken. Depending on if it’s going on a salad, a sandwich, or anything else I’m making I tend to add different flavors to my grilled chicken. This recipe is my girlfriends favorite that I make. She will eat it on anything. This recipe has a little kick to it from some Hungarian Paprika which I use a lot because of my roots. I will come back and post more of my different grilled chicken recipes in the future.

Place the chicken on the grill. Do not move the chicken. Do not press down on the chicken. The chicken will retain its juices and get better grill marks if it doesn’t move other than flipping the chicken.

Let cook until the visible edges of the chicken appear almost to be cooked. This will be about 5 minutes.

That looks really good! I’m always looking for new seasons and ways to cook chicken! Thanks for sharing your recipe! 🙂

  • One piece of cooking equipment I always meant to get (but haven’t yet) is a grill pan.

I think it’s awesome that you take photos during each step of the process, from just-seasoned, to seasonings rubbed in, even to what the chicken edges should start to look like when it’s almost ready to be flipped. It really helps people who might be less familiar with the process and would otherwise be too eager, inadvertently ruining those beautiful grill marks.

    • I appreciate the feedback. Helps me improve the community I am trying to build.

Grill pans are great. Go for cast iron, they add a nice flavor to anything cooked on them. If you take care of them they last for many many years.
