There are many different types of food trucks. I feel that in the end though, most trucks can be separated into two different categories. There is the gourmet food truck where the chef attempts to serve you a plate that could come from a 5 star restaurant. The one where the food is of such a high quality you either feel that they are doing this to raise money for a restaurant or they are doing it to be ironic. The other kind of truck is more of a novelty. Maybe they have the truck because they love to experiment with food. It could just be a hobby for them. In the end though, this is the kind of truck that is there to just have fun. Each type of truck has their own pros and cons to them.
If you live in Tallahassee it’s possible you have noticed the food truck epidemic. What started as 1 or 2 trucks driving around Tallahassee has become quite popular. Currently there are over 12 trucks (that I know of) driving around town. The number seems grow all the time. Some of these trucks are original restaurants and others are portable versions of existing establishment in Tallahassee.
